The theme for this oratorical contest 2017 is ” What can/should be done to Improve Relations between Minorities and Members of the Law Enforcement Community?
Organization of the speech: The speech must be no less than four minutes and thirty seconds and not more than seven minutes and thirty seconds.
The speech must be typed, APA standards.
The speech must strongly support the theme.
The speech must show a command of vocabulary.
Things to focus on: Opening statement, Development points, Drawing conclusions, Vocabulary appropriateness, and summary or closing.
